J'ADORE KARLIE: SPRING 2011

Some warm weather inspiration for you. Shot by Steven Meisel, Karlie Kloss is sizzling in this heated Spring 2011 campaign for Dior. Red lips and tousled hair, beauty is looking classic for this spring. Most of all, I can't wait to wear the cat-like shades.

MEISELPIC: VOGUE ITALIA

This is one of my favorite shoots, so I thought I would post this from my collections. Shot by Steven Meisel, a photography genius, the shoot was inspired by the social media site Twitter, and it's picture hosting, Twitpic. Revamped and renamed to "meiselpic", each of the models has a clever "tweet" to share, with Meisel sharing his little message as well. Check them all out.

Publication: Vogue Italia
Issue: December 2009
Photographer: Steven Meisel
Models: Agyness Deyn, Anna Selezneva, Freja Beha Erichsen, Hanne Gaby, Kasia Struss, Karlie Kloss, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Sasha Pivovarova, Natalia Vodianova, Natasha Poly.

For the record I only enclosed my favorites. There are more. Let me know if you want to see the rest. The ones I left out were Linda Evangelista, Viktoriya Sasonkina,  Kristen McMenamy, Sessilee Lopez, Gisele Bundchen, Lara Stone, Karen Elson, Naomi Campbell, Jamie Bochert, Christy Turlington.

KARLIE KLOSS IS A SUMMER CINDERELLA

Loving Karlie Kloss in this Cinderella-inspired ad campaign for Hermès Spring/Summer 2010 shot by Paolo Roversi. It's very fantasy meets summer fiction in what seems to be an implied summer romance by the sea. Or perhaps that's just me daydreaming. Ah well, breathtaking, either way.

LOLA BY MARC JACOBS

Flowering from it’s vase-like bottle, the Lola by Marc Jacobs perfume is what critics have been calling “the older sister” of Jacobs’ last perfume, Daisy. Though some found the bottle overdone, I found it to be a perfect reflection of the classic eclectic and quirky Marc Jacobs style that we all know and love (who else can get away with making mouse flats?) and delightfully outlandish next to the rest of the boxy perfume bottles. Not to mention, with Karlie Kloss as the face of the campaign I knew it had to be absolutely splendid, because if the model reflects the product, what wouldn’t be to love about Lola?
What do you all think?
